News(Yaoundé, Cameroon): On the afternoon of Thursday, 26 March 2026, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce and head of delegation for Cambodian, held a bilateral meeting with the Hon. Matt Thistlethwaite MP, Assistant Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade of Australia. During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral trade relations and ongoing cooperation between Cambodia and Australia. Discussions focused on key trade issues, including the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement and the ASEAN-Australia-New Zealand Free Trade Agreement (AANZFTA). The two sides also exchanged views on the expected outcomes of the 14th Ministerial Conference (MC14), highlighting the importance of strengthening the multilateral trading system, advancing WTO reform, and addressing development-related priorities. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continued cooperation and dialogue to further deepen trade and economic ties.

News(Yaoundé, Cameroon): On the morning of Thursday, 26 March 2026, in Yaoundé, Cameroon, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce and head of delegation for Cambodia, attended the official opening session of the 14th WTO Ministerial Conference (MC14), chaired by His Excellency Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana, Minister of Trade of Cameroon. This Conference is the highest decision-making body of the WTO and is being held over four days, from 26 to 29 March 2026, bringing together all WTO members to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the multilateral trading system and to take action on the future work of the WTO.

News(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Wednesday, 25 March 2026, at the Ministry of Commerce, His Excellency VAR Rotsan, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, and His Excellency Yang Saing Koma, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries co-chaired an inter-ministerial meeting to discuss "Market Coordination and Vegetable Price Stabilization." The meeting was attended by Undersecretaries of State and technical officials from both Ministries, as well as representatives from the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB). The primary objective of this discussion meeting was to identify practical and effective mechanisms to address the high volatility of vegetable prices in the domestic market.
