News(Siem Reap): On the morning of Thursday, 24 March 2026, Mr. TAN Yuvaroath, Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Trade Promotion, and His Excellency YUN Linne, Vice Governor of Siem Reap Province, presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar on "Strengthening the Capacity of Producers and Processors" in Siem Reap Province. The event was attended by provincial authorities, civil servants from relevant departments, and especially entrepreneurs, traders, and businesspeople across the province. The main objective of this seminar is to strengthen the capacity of producers to develop their products in compliance with the standards and requirements set by the law and to respond to market demands. This is aimed at enhancing competitiveness through market penetration and attaining a fair market segment. The seminar also provided participants with new knowledge related to production, packaging, and the company registration process.
News(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Friday, 27 March 2026, at the Ministry of Commerce, His Excellency RATH Saravuth, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, chaired a meeting to review the cooperation between the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and the private sector in the Middle East. The meeting was attended by Oknha KOUCH Pheng, Vice President of CCC, along with technical officials from the Ministry. The meeting discussed trade relations between Cambodia and Middle Eastern countries. It also examined the feasibility of expediting the signing of three draft Memorandums of Understanding on: 1. the Establishment of the Joint Business Council between Cambodia and the UAE, 2. Enhancing Investment and Business Opportunities between Cambodia and the UAE, and 3. the Establishment of the Joint Business Council between Cambodia and Saudi Arabia.
