News(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Tuesday, 21 July 2026 , at the Ministry of Commerce, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, received a courtesy call from His Excellency Brian D. McFeeters, President and Chief Executive Officer of the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC), and representatives from leading U.S. companies, to discuss ways to explore new investment opportunities and the expansion of existing investments in Cambodia. On the occasion, Her Excellency Minister warmly welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the Ministry of Commerce's commitment to supporting and safeguarding the interests of the private sector, including businesses, investors, and consumers from all over the world, through the formulation, reform, and effective implementation of trade policies. Her Excellency Minister also highlighted the Ministry's ongoing efforts to prepare Cambodia for her graduation from Least Developed Country (LDC) status, in line with the country's sustainable economic development agenda. She further underscored the importance of strengthening public-private dialogue to enhance Cambodia's business environment, attract investment, and improve the country's overall competitiveness. Her Excellency Minister added that the meeting reflected the continued strengthening of the partnership between Cambodia and the U.S. business community, with a view to promoting investment, trade, and inclusive and sustainable economic development in line with the Royal Government of Cambodia's policy priorities. In response, His Excellency McFeeters commended Cambodia's continued progress in improving the investment climate and reaffirmed the U.S.-ASEAN Business Council's commitment to strengthening cooperation with the Royal Government of Cambodia. He also expressed the Council's support for the implementation of the Pentagonal Strategy – Phase I, particularly in the areas of digital economy development and human capital development, where U.S. companies possess extensive expertise, experience, innovation, and strong competitive advantages.

News(Phnom Penh): On the afternoon of Monday, 20 July 2026, at the Ministry of Commerce, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, received a courtesy call from Ms. Aleksandra P. Zittle, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America to the Kingdom of Cambodia. The meeting served as an opportunity to discuss ways to expand and strengthen trade cooperation between the two countries. During the meeting, both sides noted the continued growth in bilateral trade and discussed ways to further strengthen bilateral cooperation especially through the Cambodia–U.S. Trade and Investment Framework Agreement (TIFA).
