News(Phnom Penh): On Wednesday, 12 November 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh Hotel, Her Excellency TEKRETH Kamrang, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, accompanied by high-level officials of the Ministry of Commerce, presided over the training on "Mainstreaming Gender in Trade Policy." The training was attended by officials from the Ministry of Commerce, representatives from ITC, and several relevant line ministries. The training was co-organized with the International Trade Centre (ITC) with the aim of raising awareness and mainstreaming gender into trade policy. It also aimed to contribute to supporting the implementation process of Cambodia Trade Policy Frameworks Towards 2030 (CTPF 2030) and to share global best practices on mainstreaming gender into trade policy. On that occasion, Her Excellency Secretary of State, encouraged all relevant representatives and line ministries, especially women, to actively contribute to capacity building and to take advantage of trade policies to promote sustainable and inclusive trade activities.

News(Phnom Penh): On Wednesday, 12 November 2025 at the Ministry of Commerce, His Excellency BUON Sarakmony, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce and Permanent Vice-Chairman of the Cambodia Competition Commission (CCC), held a high-level bilateral meeting with Mr. Samuel Chan, Chairman of the Hong Kong Competition Commission (HKCC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China. The meeting aimed to initiate official cooperation between the two committees within the framework of competition under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the CCC and the HKCC, signed on the morning of November 12, 2025. During the meeting, the HKCC delegation presented an overview of its institutional structure, mandate, and key responsibilities. In turn, the Cambodian delegation shared recent developments in Cambodia’s competition landscape, including ongoing reforms and enforcement priorities aimed at fostering a fair and dynamic market environment.
