News(Ratanakkiri): On the morning of Wednesday, 25 March 2026, His Excellency KAO Kosal, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, and His Excellency NEANG Sam At, Deputy Governor of Ratanakkiri Province, presided over the opening ceremony of a seminar on “Khmer Promotion Products.” The seminar was attended by the provincial administration, departments, relevant units, provincial chambers of commerce, companies, enterprises, communities, associations, producers, and traders in Ratanakkiri Province. The purpose of this seminar is to promote and enhance Khmer Products to access both domestic and foreign markets, especially encouraging Khmer Producers to continue to strive to improve quality, safety, aesthetics, packaging, and brand building to strengthen product competitiveness in the market. In addition, to promote the use of Khmer Products, in line with the trend of increasing support for Khmer Products and showing love for National Products, the Ministry of Commerce launched "MakeInCambodia" on 14 February 2026.
News(Kampong Thom): On the morning of Tuesday, 24 March 2026, Mr. TAN Yuvaroath, Deputy Director General of the General Directorate of Trade Promotion, and His Excellency NGUON Rasey, Vice Governor of Kampong Thom Province, presided over the opening ceremony of the seminar on "Strengthening the Capacity of Producers and Processors" in Kampong Thom Province. The event was attended by provincial authorities, civil servants from relevant departments, and especially entrepreneurs, traders, and businesspeople across the province. The main objective of this seminar is to strengthen the capacity of producers to develop their products in compliance with the standards and requirements set by the law and to respond to market demands. This is aimed at enhancing competitiveness through market penetration and attaining a fair market segment. The seminar also provided participants with new knowledge related to production, packaging, and the company registration process.

News(Yaoundé, Cameroon): On the afternoon of Thursday, 26 March 2026, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce and head of delegation for Cambodia, met with His Excellency Maninder Sidhu, Minister of International Trade of Canada and head of delegation of Canada. In the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral trade relations between Cambodia and Canada, as well as the ongoing negotiations of the ASEAN–Canada Free Trade Agreement (ACFTA), which both sides expect to conclude by 2026. Both parties also exchanged views on the expected outcomes of the 14th WTO Ministerial Conference (MC14), particularly on issues related to e-commerce, WTO reform, trade and development, among others.
