(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Thursday, 18 December 2025, at the Ministry of Commerce, His Excellency KEM Sithan, Permanent Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce and High Representative of Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, chaired the weekly meeting attended by the Ministry's leaders, including the Secretary of State, Undersecretary of State, Director General, Directors of Departments, Directors of Provincial Departments, and other officials. The weekly meeting was held at the Ministry of Commerce and via video conference, covering the following agenda: 1. Brief Report on the Working Progress of the Document Preparation Subcommittee of the Organizing Committee for MOC Annual Conference 2025 and Work Directions 2026 2. Brief Report on the Results of Participating in the 2025 Asian Forum on “Intellectual Property Business” and Related Meetings 3. Brief Report on the Results of Participating in the Conference on Promoting Trade in Fresh Rice Exports to Tay Ninh Province, Vietnam 4. Brief Report on the Working Progress of the General Directorate of International Trade 5. Brief Report on the Working Progress of the Department of Laboratory 6. Brief Report on the Working Progress of the Preah Sihanouk Provincial Department of Commerce 7. Other Interventions. Please be informed that before the start of this meeting, all members of the meeting joined in a solemn ceremony to honor and commemorate the heroism and loyalty of our military heroes who sacrificed their physical strength, mental strength, and wisdom in defending the homeland from enemy aggression.

Also participating were His Excellency IENG Thomas Amrindra Viriyavudh, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, and His Excellency LAY Soksaokunthea, Delegate of the Royal Government of Cambodia in charge of the Director General of the General Directorate of Administration and Finance, as well as technical officials from the Ministry of Commerce. This discussion meeting aimed at collaboration in promoting the delivery and distribution of goods for operations in Cambodiatrade.com and to review the draft Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Ministry of Commerce and Cambodia Post for collaboration in providing postal services to the Ministry of Commerce and the public who need services from the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications.
