News(Yangjiang, China): On 24–25 October 2026, Mr. LAO Nguon Eng, Trade Attaché to the Royal Consulate General of Cambodia in Guangzhou, participated in a study visit to Chinese enterprises and factories in Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China, organized by the Foreign Affairs Office of Yangjiang Municipality, Guangdong Province. This study visit aimed to strengthen trade, investment, and economic cooperation connections between the Foreign Affairs Office of Yangjiang Municipality and all Consulates General in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province. The study visit brought together over 45 representatives from Consulates General of ASEAN Member States, the European Union, and African countries. The delegation visited three major enterprises/factories: Jinpeng Intelligent Technology Co., Ltd. (apparel manufacturing); Yangjiang Goldenwind (wind power equipment tools and manufacturing); and Guangdong Guangqing Metal Rolling Co., Ltd. (metal processing for computer hardware and kitchenware).
News(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Tuesday, 27 October 2026, at the Ministry of Commerce, Her Excellency TEKRETH Kamrang, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, presided over the October 2026 monthly meeting of the Accelerating Inclusive Markets for Smallholders (AIMS) Project, with the participation of the Project Management Office (PMO) leadership, Provincial Department of Commerce (PDoC) directors, project officers, and focal points from all 18 targeted Provincial Departments of Commerce. The meeting was organized to report on and monitor project implementation progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions for the AIMS Project in line with the Annual Work Plan and Budget 2026.

News(Moscow, Russian Federation): On the morning of Thursday, 22 October 2026, His Excellency BUN Chanthy, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, participated as a speaker in the international congress on "Special Economic Zones" at the 4th International Forum on Special Economic Zones, held at Technopolis Moscow. The session was attended by representatives of ministries responsible for coordinating special economic zones in China, Myanmar, and Madagascar, as well as representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation and the Association of Clusters, Technology Parks and Special Economic Zones of Russia. The discussion focused on best practices in SEZ operations, as well as mechanisms for promoting business-to-business (B2B) cooperation among investors in SEZs across partner countries through the exchange of information on policies and investment incentives. The panel also addressed the integration of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles and the adoption of circular economy models and green technologies to enhance the competitiveness and attractiveness of SEZs. The Forum took place over three days, from 20 to 22 October 2026. The programme included site visits to companies and factories within Technopolis Moscow to showcase SEZ operations and business best practices, an awards ceremony recognizing outstanding special economic zones, and business networking sessions.
News(Jakarta, Indonesia): On 21-23 October 2026, in Jakarta, Republic of Indonesia, His Excellency LONG Kemvichet, Director General of International Trade and Trade Negotiating Committee (TNC) Lead for Cambodia, led the Cambodian delegation to participate in the 21st Meeting of the ASEAN–Canada Free Trade Agreement (ACAFTA) Negotiations in Jakarta, Indonesia The meeting was convened to review and monitor the progress of the negotiating working groups, as well as to discuss and resolve remaining outstanding issues, aimed at achieving substantial conclusion of the negotiations in 2026.
