(Phnom Penh): On the afternoon of Wednesday, 26 November 2025, at the Ministry of Commerce, His Excellency RATH Saravuth, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, received a courtesy call meeting from Her Excellency Hala Youssef Ahmed Ragab, Ambassador of Egypt to Cambodia, to continue strengthening Cambodia-Egypt trade and economic cooperation. On this occasion, His Excellency Secretary of State highlighted the Government of Cambodia’s efforts to diversify trade through multilateral, regional, and bilateral free trade agreement frameworks, as well as through legal and regulatory reforms aimed at further improving the business and investment environment. His Excellency also noted the potential for strengthening trade complementarity between the two countries and proposed exchanges of study visits, the organization of business-matching forums, and the establishment of a memorandum of understanding on trade cooperation between the Ministry of Commerce and the chambers of commerce of both countries. In response, the Ambassador agreed with Cambodia’s proposals and expressed strong commitment to enhancing bilateral trade cooperation by promoting Cambodia’s investment and business potential to Egyptian investors and businesspeople, exploring possibilities to increase the exchange of potential goods, and creating a framework for trade cooperation that could serve as a mechanism to further strengthen trade complementarity between the two countries in the future.

(Phnom Penh): On the afternoon of Thursday, 27 November 2025, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, received a courtesy call from Ms. Tania Meyer, Country Manager of the World Bank for Cambodia and her colleagues to discuss and strengthen partnership and cooperation in support of trade development in Cambodia. On that occasion, Her Excellency Minister highlighted the efforts of the Ministry of Commerce to improve trade facilitation and enhance business environment more competitive, promote paperless trade, prepare from the Least Developed Countries (LDCs) status. Ms. Meyer also highly valued the close cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and affirmed the World Bank participation to strengthen cooperation and implement project in an effective manner.

Brief report on the results of participation in the global conference «30th Edition of the Partnership Summit 2025» 3. Brief report on the working progress on the preparation of the Free Trade Agreement Information Portal (FTA Portal) 4. Brief report on the working progress of the Commercial Attaché in the Republic of Korea 5. Brief report on the working progress of the Preah Vihear Provincial Department of Commerce 6. Other matters.
