News(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Tuesday, 1 September 2026, at Khéma La Poste, His Excellency SAMHENG Bora, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, led the Ministry of Commerce’s working group to have a discussion meeting with Mr. Frantz Vaganay, President of French Foreign Trade Advisors Cambodia Section (CCEF) and representatives from the French-Cambodian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFC). The meeting aimed to discuss about Ministry of Commerce’s trade export promotion mission during the international expo “SIAL PARIS 2026”, to be held from 17-21 October 2026 at Paris Nord Villepinte, Paris, French Republic and to review the progress of preparatory work for the co-organization of the "3rd Cambodia-France Business Forum 2026.", to be held in the up-coming November 2026 in Phnom Penh, Kingdom of Cambodia.

News(Phnom Penh): On the afternoon of Monday, August 31, 2026, at the Ministry of Commerce, Her Excellency Tekret Kamrong, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, presided over the 1st Steering Committee Meeting of the Accelerating Inclusive Markets for Smallholders (AIMS) Project. The meeting was attended by Mr. Frew Behabtu, Country Director and Representative of IFAD in Cambodia and Co-Chair of the Steering Committee, alongside representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Undersecretaries of State, Directors General, Department Directors, Directors of the Provincial Departments of Commerce across the 18 target provinces, representatives of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank (ARDB), and technical service partners. The meeting aimed to provide strategic and policy guidance for project implementation in line with the National Development Strategy and the Royal Government's Pentagonal Strategy; guide the preparation of project work plans and budget plans; monitor and evaluate project implementation at the policy level and provide directions to ensure that project activities are implemented in accordance with the plan and achieve the expected outcomes; and provide guidance and recommendations to address any issues that may arise during project implementation.
