News(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Friday, 28 November 2025, at the Hyatt Regency Phnom Penh Hotel, Her Excellency TEKRETH Kamrang, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, a high representative of Her Excellency Minister, is invited to participate in delivering a special speech at the “Doing Business with Cambodia” Forum, a side event of the “New Horizons Roadshow Cambodia”, organized by the Dubai Chambers and co-organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the Council for the Development of Cambodia, and the Cambodian Chamber of Commerce. The event brought together senior leaders from both sides, including Oknha KITH Meng, President of the CCC; Mr. Salem AL Shamsi, Executive Vice President of International Relations of the Dubai Chambers; and representatives of the CDC; along with approximately 250 companies from Cambodia and the UAE across sectors such as agriculture, food, hospitality, tourism, healthcare, cosmetics, automobiles, construction, electronics, industrial lubricants, consulting, and others. In her address, Her Excellency emphasized the growing trade and investment opportunities under the Cambodia–UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement, particularly in agriculture, agro-processing, logistics, and tourism. Her Excellency encouraged UAE investors to explore Cambodia’s expanding economic potential and reaffirmed the Ministry of Commerce’s commitment to facilitating and supporting all business and investment activities in the Kingdom.
News(Phnom Penh): On the afternoon of Thursday, November 27, 2025, at the Ministry of Commerce, His Excellency Samheng Bora, Secretary of State, met with Mr. Salem Al Shamsi, Executive Vice President of International Relations of the Dubai Chambers, in order to strengthen and expand economic and trade cooperation between Cambodia and Dubai, especially between the private sectors of both countries. During the meeting, His Excellency the Secretary of State provided an overview of Cambodia’s trade policy, particularly her efforts to promote exports of potential agricultural produce such as rice and cashew nuts. He also underscored the vast business and investment opportunities in Cambodia, encouraging the private sectors of both countries to leverage the existing Cambodia–UAE Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) to enhance bilateral trade and investment cooperation. In response, Mr. Salem Al Shamsi expressed his admiration for Cambodia’s economic growth, particularly the new development of the Techo International Airport. He also informed about the New Horizons Roadshow organized by the Dubai Chambers on 27-28 November 2025 in Phnom Penh, which will provide opportunities for business partnerships and strengthen private sector cooperation between the two countries
