News(Siem Reap): On 8-9 December 2025, at Borei Angkor Resort & Spa, Siem Reap Province, His Excellency Pech Rithi, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, attended the 21st Join Committee Meeting between Cambodia-VietNam under the distinguished Co-chairmanship of His Excellency Prak Sokhonn, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, and His Excellency Le Hoai Trung, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam. The Meeting focused its discussion on Economic, Cultural, Scientific, and Technology Cooperation between the two countries.

News(Boracay, Philippines): On 10-12 December2025, His Excellency LONG Kemvichet, Director-General of the General Directorate of International Trade and Senior Economic Official Lead for Cambodia, led the Cambodian delegation to participate in the Senior Economic Officials’ Meeting Retreat, held under the ASEAN Chairship of the Philippines for 2026, with the theme “Navigating Our Future, Together,” in Boracay, Philippines. The meeting reviewed, discussed, and took note of key agenda items, including: (1) the list of Concept Notes on the Priority Economic Deliverables under the ASEAN Chairmanship of the Philippines for 2026, (2) updated status on the signing and ratification of various ASEAN economic agreements, (3) Annual Priorities 2026, (4) progress in the negotiations on the ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement, and (5) progress on Timor Leste’s accession to ASEAN economic agreements. On this occasion, His Excellency also attended the ASEAN Capacity Building Workshop on Strategic Trade Management. The workshop was organized with the objective of strengthening ASEAN Member States’ understanding of one of the Priority Economic Deliverables of the Philippines for 2026, namely the ASEAN Leaders’ Declaration on Strategic Trade Management for Secure Regional Trade.
