(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Monday, 10 November 2025, at the Ministry of Commerce, His Excellency CHHOR Sunhong, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce chaired a consultative meeting with representatives of the Foreign Chamber of Commerce in Cambodia. The meeting aimed to discuss and gather input on the draft Proclaimation concerning the simplification of business registration procedures, with the participation of senior officials and officers from the Department of Business Registration.

(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Wednesday, 12 November 2025, at the Rosewood Phnom Penh Hotel, His Excellency LIM Phanphearak, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, presided over the Cambodia–Russia Business Delegation Meeting, which was organized by the Cambodia–Russia Trade House with the aim of providing a B2B business-matching platform to explore potential partnerships and strengthen cooperation between the private sectors of both countries. Reflecting this shared objective, the meeting brought together many participants, including distinguished His Excellency Anatoly BOROVIK, Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Cambodia, along with representatives from the public and private sectors, notably leading Russian enterprises in food processing, manufacturing, automotive, and logistics, such as APK, Miratorg, DVK, GAZ, AVTOVAZ, and KAMAZ. In his remarks, His Undersecretary of State expressed his delight and warmly welcomed the organization of the Cambodia–Russia Business Delegation Meeting, noting its important contribution to enhancing trade and economic ties between the two nations. His Excellency highlighted key investment opportunities where Cambodian and Russian businesses can collaborate, particularly in food processing utilizing Cambodia’s abundant agricultural produce; packaging technology; tourism; and the import and export of complementary goods. His Excellency Undersecretary of State, underscored Cambodia’s potential to export cashew nuts, pepper, and tropical fruits, while importing from Russia high-quality agricultural fertilizers, machinery, and modern cultivation and irrigation technologies to support Cambodia’s agricultural modernization. Meanwhile, His Excellency briefed participants on trade and investment policies that are conducive to doing business and investing in Cambodia, such as the Pentagon Strategy aimed at the 2030 and 2050 visions, free trade agreements that Cambodia has achieved, trade facilitation (Export Service Center, CamDX, FTA Portal), and investment incentives, etc.

Brief report on the results of the business matching forum between the Cambodian Food Producers Association, Handicrafts and Small and Medium Enterprises, the Cambodian Chefs' Community Association, the Cambodian Hotel Association, and Supermarkets, Marts, and Minimarts 4. Brief report on the working progress of the Siem Reap Province Department of Commerce 5. Other matters.
