(Dili, Timor-Leste): On 4-6 November 2025, His Excellency TITH Rithipol, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce shared Cambodia’s experiences in the Workshop on Understanding and Implementing Timor-Leste’s ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Commitments after Timor-Leste’s Accession to ASEAN. The workshop was co-chaired by Her Excellency Milena Rangel, Vice Minister for ASEAN Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, and His Excellency Augusto Junior Trindade, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of Timor-Leste. The aim of the workshop was to allow Timor-Leste’s stakeholders to understand methods in helping them to fulfill their obligations under the AEC, as Timor-Leste had just acceded to become the newest ASEAN Member. The workshop had in attendance representatives from Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam, Australia, Japan, the European Union, ASEAN Secretariat, ADB, JICA, the United Nations Office in Timor-Leste, and ERIA, to share their experiences with relevant government institutions, the private sector, and multiple civil societies in Timor-Leste.

(Yangon, Myanmar): On Friday, 7 November 2025, His Excellency PENN Sovicheat, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce and High Representative of Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce and CLMV Economic Minister for Cambodia, attended the 17th Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam Economic Ministers’ Meeting (17th CLMV EMM). The meeting aimed to review and monitor the progress of the implementation of the CLMV Action Plan 2025-2026, the Framework for CLMV Development, and the Terms of Reference of the CLMV Senior Economic Officials Meeting (SEOM), along with other relevant matters, to further advance collective efforts in narrowing the development gap among ASEAN member states.

(Istanbul, Türkiye): On the morning of Thursday, 6 November 2025, Her Excellency TEKRETH Kamrang, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, delivered opening remarks at the Opening Ceremony of the 16th Bosphorus Summit, under the theme “Global Challenges: Adjusting to New Realities.” The summit is being held from November 6–7, 2025, in Istanbul, Türkiye, organized by the International Cooperation Platform (ICP), and attended by approximately 2,000 participants, including leaders and key business figures from over 60 countries around the world. In her remarks, Her Excellency Secretary of State highlighted Cambodia’s experience in maintaining peace, sustainable, and resilient development, in line with the Pentagonal Strategy–Phase I of the Royal Government of Cambodia. She emphasized Cambodia’s efforts in economic diversification, digitalization, trade integration, and tourism promotion through the development of new infrastructure. Participation in this prestigious event provided an important opportunity to enhance Cambodia’s presence on the international stage, strengthen economic and trade cooperation, build partnerships with global leaders, and gain insights into new trends for achieving sustainable development.
