News(Manila, the Philippines): On 27 to 29 May 2026, His Excellency LONG Kemvichet, Director General of the General Directorate of International Trade and Senior Economic Official Lead for Cambodia, led the Cambodian delegation to attend the Second Meeting for Senior Economic Officials (SEOM 2/57). The meeting was convened under the Philippines’ ASEAN Chairship 2026, with the aim of reviewing the progress of work and discussing key agenda items to further advance ASEAN economic integration. These included global economic developments, Priority Economic Deliverables, annual priorities for 2026, initiatives related to energy security, progress in the negotiations of the ASEAN Digital Economy Framework Agreement, and priority matters with ASEAN Dialogue Partners.
News(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Friday, 29 May 2026, at the Ministry of Commerce, His Excellency Chhor Sunhong and Her Excellency Tan Tepikanika, Undersecretaries of State of the Ministry of Commerce, presided over a consultation meeting on the draft Handbook on Business Registration and Conducting Business in Compliance with the Law (SOP). The meeting was attended by technical officials from the Ministry of Commerce, and representatives from foreign chambers of commerce and law firms.
