(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Thursday, 12 February 2026, at the Ministry of Commerce, His Excellency KEM Sithan, Acting Minister of the Ministry of Commerce and High Representative of Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, chaired the weekly meeting attended by the Ministry's leaders, including the Secretary of State, Undersecretary of State, Director General, Directors of Departments, Directors of Provincial Departments, and other officials. The weekly meeting was held at the Ministry of Commerce and via video conference, covering the following agenda: 1. Brief report on the working progress of the evaluation of technical specifications of Cambodian Halal Product Standards. 2. Brief report on the working progress of the Department of Private Sector Development. 3. Brief report on the working progress of the Department of Trade Policy. 4. Brief report on the working progress of the Svay Rieng Provincial Department of Commerce. 5. Brief report on the working progress of the Sihanoukville Provincial Department of Commerce. 6. Other Interventions.

(Islamabad, Pakistan): On the afternoon of Wednesday, 11 February 2026, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and His Excellency Jam Kamal Khan, Federal Minister of Commerce of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, co-chaired the 2nd Ministerial Meeting of the Cambodia-Pakistan Joint Trade Committee, with the participation of relevant ministries and agencies from both countries. The two sides highly commended the progress in cooperation within potential sectors, exchanging views on export opportunities and the enhancement of market access to promote bilateral trade growth. Additionally, both parties discussed follow-up actions, such as drafting Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) across several sectors to serve as a foundation for comprehensive economic cooperation. During the meeting, the two sides also signed three key documents: the Minutes of the Meeting, a Joint Statement on the official launch of the Cambodia-Pakistan Preferential Trade Agreement, and a Memorandum of Understanding on Trade Promotion.

(Islamabad, Pakistan): On the afternoon of Wednesday, 11 February 2026, on the occasion of attending the 2nd Cambodia–Pakistan Joint Trade Committee Meeting, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce, met with His Excellency Haroon Akhtar Khan, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. During the meeting, both sides discussed mechanisms to promote the industrial and manufacturing sectors, with particular emphasis on the textile and apparel industry, strengthening linkages between the private sectors—especially small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) of the two countries—and encouraging exchanges of business delegations to participate in various trade events to further enhance bilateral economic and trade relations.
