(Kampong Cham): On the morning of Tuesday, 18 November 2025, His Excellency RATH Saravuth, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, and His Excellency LOR Chanly, Deputy Governor of Kampong Cham Province, presided over the opening seminar on “Promoting Cambodia’s Potential Products to the Canadian Market.” The seminar was organized by the Department of the Americas of the Ministry of Commerce in collaboration with the Provincial Department of Commerce under the Kampong Cham Administration. The seminar aimed to share key insights on market access opportunities in Canada, along with export procedures and strategic approaches for Cambodian businesses seeking to expand into Canada. It was jointly presented by officials from the Ministry of Commerce’s Department of the Americas and Department of Asia Pacific. The event attracted around 80 participants, including officials and authorities from the Kampong Cham Administration, businesspeople, representatives of the Special Economic Zone, local companies and garment factories/enterprises, monks, and college students from various universities in the provinces.

(Shanghai, China): On the afternoon of Monday, 17th November 2025, at the Royal Consulate General of Cambodia in Shanghai, Mr. Yuok Ousaphea, Commercial Attaché, accompanied the Cambodian Consul General and his colleagues to meet and discuss with Mr.Huang Xinliang, vice-president of Hangzhou Steel Structure Co., Ltd. At the beginning, Mr. Huang expressed his happiness and described the history of his company. He expressed his great interest in investing in Cambodia at this time and agreed to continue meeting with the Cambodian side next month and invited the Cambodian side to visit his company in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province in the future. In response, the Consul General of Cambodia in Shanghai supported and encouraged Mr.Huang’s company is to invest in Cambodia. The Consul General mentioned some of the incentives stipulated in the new investment law of the Kingdom of Cambodia and continued to meet with Mr. Huang’s company to follow up on the development and cooperation in the near future. Hangxiao Steel Structure Co., Ltd was founded in 1985 and is now one of the prominent companies in China, investing in steel structures, railways, bridges, commercial centers, airports, project design, manufacturing, and construction.
