The exhibition was well-organized, diverse, dynamic, and rich in content, and is being held successfully in Phnom Penh. His Excellency further emphasized that, in the current context, the exhibition plays an important role in promoting cooperation between the Kingdom of Cambodia and Malaysia across key areas, including economic relations, trade, tourism, investment, and particularly the healthcare sector. His Excellency Secretary of State also highlighted the positive momentum of bilateral trade relations, noting that total trade volume exceeded USD 1 billion last year, representing a significant increase of approximately 25 percent compared to 2024. His Excellency Secretary of State expressed strong confidence that bilateral trade in 2026 will continue to grow through innovative initiatives such as this exhibition and the Ministry of Commerce’s annual Cambodia Trade Expo (CTExpo), which serve as significant platforms for trade connectivity alongside enhanced cooperation between the governments of both countries on new trade-related activities. In his conclusion, His Excellency Secretary of State welcomed and commended the announcement of partnerships between Sunway Medical Centre and AirAsia Cambodia, FTB Bank Cambodia, and Forte Insurance Cambodia. His Excellency Secretary of State further encouraged the private sectors of both countries to fully capitalize on the opportunities presented by this exhibition by exploring potential, identifying new opportunities, and establishing additional partnerships.
