News(Phnom Penh): On the afternoon of Thursday, 29 January 2026, at PH Grand Hall in Phnom Penh, Her Excellency CHAM Nimul, Minister of Commerce of the Kingdom of Cambodia and His Excellency Dominic Williams, British Ambassador to Cambodia, co-chaired the 3rd Cambodia-UK Joint Trade and Investment Forum (JTIF) under the theme “Progressive Partnerships in a Shifting Global Landscape: A Cambodia–UK Perspective”. The forum was attended by representatives from relevant line ministries, chambers of commerce, associations, and private companies of both countries. The forum also featured two panel discussions, including: - Panel Discussion 1: Championing Business Stories—Turning Opportunity into Commercial Outcomes; focusing on addressing financial challenges, reducing business risks, and expanding businesses in high-potential sectors. Participants will gain insights into market requirements and the importance of partnerships that help drive tangible trade and investment outcomes. - Panel Discussion 2: Making Trade Happen: Addressing Barriers and Enablers; focusing on strategies to strengthen compliance standards in finance, trade, customs, and logistics, supported by a favorable business environment. The preparation of the exhibition was defined to showcase products and services of private companies from Cambodia and the United Kingdom.
